Building those pipelines within the state’s top high schools could continue to pay dividends for Freeze and Auburn. Currently, the top player in Alabama for the 2026 recruiting class is wide receiver Cederian Morgan out of Benjamin Russell High School, the same school current Auburn wide receiver Malcolm Simmons attended.

Much of Alabama football's first recruiting class of the Kalen DeBoer era has been secured. On Wednesday morning, committed members of Alabama's 2025 recruiting class signed and submited their intentions to officially join the Crimson Tide ahead of next season.
