Heavy mountain snow will decrease Wednesday afternoon and end in the evening, but not before another two to six inches of snow stacks up, NWS forecasters said.

Snow has fallen upwards of 20 inches in the mountains of Colorado. Snow is forecasted to wrap up Wednesday night as many travel for Thanksgiving.

Steady snow in Colorado's high country will end and will be replaced with colder temperatures for the mountains and Front Range.
