Missouri Tigers fans knew Luther Burden III’s time at Mizzou ended when he participated in Senior Day festivities as a junior on Saturday.

Missouri star wide receiver Luther Burden III has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Burden is a possible first round target for the Cincinnati Bengals. Pro Football Focus mocked Burden to the Bengals last week in their mock draft.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III told Thamel that he will skip Mizzou’s upcoming bowl game and he will declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Missouri sits seventh in the SEC and missed out on the conference championship and presumably the College Football Playoff. Gaining two more wins at the end of the season might have helped its post-season bowl chances as far as a stronger opponent goes.
