A newly-named storm, named Conall, is forecast to bring heavy rain to southern England and Wales, hitting communities still cleaning up from Storm Bert. The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for rainfall in several southern areas of the UK from 22:00 GMT on Tuesday until midday on Wednesday.

Trains have been cancelled in parts of southern England after heavy rainfall flooded railway lines during Storm Conall. No trains are running between Tonbridge and Redhill, Ascot and Aldershot, and Ryde Esplanade and Ryde St Johns Road on the Isle of Wight,

The Met Office said Storm Conall will hit southern England tonight before moving across the UK before ultimately hitting the Netherlands - the new storm comes as Brits reel from flooding this weekend
