One of the strongest storms we've seen in Massachusetts in quite a while will bring rain and snow on Thanksgiving.The holiday will essentially be a washout with rain expected from mid-morning until late in the evening Thursday.

Impacts from a storm will begin on Thursday morning across Massachusetts and New England, with light rain for most of the area and a wintry mix for some areas above 1,000 feet.

A storm system will sweep over the region Thanksgiving Day, bringing a mix of rain and wind. Some areas even face a chance of snowfall.
