Grand Slam Track, the new track and field league set to begin in April 2025, just secured its latest star: Gabby Thomas. Fresh off of her second Olympic training cycle and a standout performance at the Paris games—where she secured three gold medals—the 27-year-old has announced that she will be participating in the inaugural season of the new venture.

Grand Slam Track, a series of four meets in which 48 of the fastest men and women in the world race for $12.6 million in prize money, will begin in Jamaica in April and come to L.A. in June.

The sprinting legend knows that the sport's biggest crowds in the U.S. every year are at the Penn Relays, and he wants his new showcase to bring that same buzz.
