A hit with even the most fickle Philly fan, Barkley has moved into second place in NFL MVP odds behind just Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen. Both at home and on the road, Philadelphia fans are letting Barkley know as the former Penn State QB is getting MVP chants wherever he plays right now.

A running back arrival is a perfect fit in a football town and an eight-game winning streak has fans soaring.

The M-V-P chants were out for Saquon Barkley, as his run was the play that sealed the Eagles' 24-19 victory over the Baltimore Ravens-- and was his signature play for the league's top honor. Barkley heard those chants as he tied the Eagles' franchise record for 100-yard games in a season with eight (Wilbert Montgomery also accomplished the feat in 1981).

Philadelphia wanted to add more firepower to the franchise and certainly did by taking a chance on former New York Giants superstar Saquon Barkley. It's unclear why the Giants ever decided to let him go and he has responded with a historic first season in Philadelphia.
