The Drug Enforcement Administration announced its seized 2.7 million fentanyl pills in Colorado this year. That breaks last year’s record of 2.6 million. Lab testing showed that five out of every 10 confiscated pills contained a dose of fentanyl that was likely to be fatal if taken.

Colorado has broken the record for fentanyl seizures and the year still has one month to go. The state has already surpassed the total amount of fentanyl seizures that set records last year.
