Hyundai is recalling more than 226,000 SUVs and small cars in the U.S. because the rearview camera image may not show up on the screens

Hyundai Motor is recalling 226,118 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns the rear view camera image may fail to display, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday. The recall affects certain 2021-2022 model year Santa Fe SUVs and Elantra sedans.

The Korean automaker has recalled vehicles for transmission issues, a damaged battery unit and a faulty sunshade.

Hyundai is issuing a recall for over 226,000 SUVs and compact cars in the US due to an issue where the rearview camera image may not display on the screens. The recall affects certain Santa Fe and Elantra models from the 2021 and 2022 model years.

Hyundai is recalling almost a quarter of a million vehicles because of a problem with their rear-view cameras. A total of 226,118 Santa Fe SUVs and Elantra sedans built for the 2021-22 model year are affected.
